Nothing is technically a miracle (is this a problem?)

Introductions are awkward in a forum like this. It’s like announcing your presence, stating your intentions, and waiting for someone to walk by. But I’ll give it a shot.

This is an attempt to give some of my ideas a home in the world. The focus will be on science fiction, science, and the process of writing science fiction. Occasionally this may mean actual fragments of fictional works-in-progress; more often, I imagine, it will simply relate to the general ideas that drive me as a writer and a thinker.
I may also include installments of an ongoing project which consists of unfinished, potentially unfinishable, fragmented fiction – what I call “single-cell” fiction. This is my lazy way of getting an idea or sentiment out without having to worry about such trivialities as context, story, or continuity.
